Dr. Muhammad Naeem is a highly accomplished individual with over two decades of experience in teaching and research at three esteemed universities in Pakistan. At present, he is an associate professor at the Punjab University, Lahore Pakistan. His research focuses on colonial Urdu novels, cultural representations, social mobility in novels, and classical poetics of Urdu literature. He has made significant contributions to these fields through his publications and authored two books on Urdu novels, delving into colonial imprints, new subjectivities in formation, generic development, and the impact of ethos and worldview on the form of Urdu novels. Furthermore, he has translated 15 Nobel lectures on economics (2001-2015) into Urdu, which were published by the Urdu Science Board in Lahore. Currently, Dr. Naeem is dedicated to studying the forging of communal identities in colonial India and has been actively involved in organizing and presenting at several international conferences.
