Shagufta Shabbar is a Research Fellow at Centre for Business and Economic Research, IBA-Karachi. She has co-authored the book, ‘Development Pathways: Bangladesh, India and Pakistan at 75’ and is the editor and co-author of the book ‘Life and Work of Great Economists.’ Previously she has worked as a Senior Researcher at Overseas Investor Chamber of Commerce and Industry and at the Social Inequality Lab, IBA. Her field of interest are cash transfers, inequality, education, gender and poverty. Shagufta is a SUSI fellow.
