Dr Bapon currently serves as the Water and Climate Leader at the Green Climate Fund, where they play a pivotal role in driving sustainable solutions to address global climate challenges.
Before joining the Green Climate Fund, Bapon made significant contributions as a Technical Director on disaster and climate resilience at Tokin and Taylor NZ, the Department of Prime Minister Office and various UN organizations. In those roles, they were instrumental in developing and implementing strategies for environmental management and climate resilience, working closely with various stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.
With extensive experience in environmental management and climate finance, Bapon has been at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies that promote sustainable water resource management and climate adaptation. Their work at the Green Climate Fund involves collaborating with international stakeholders to mobilize resources and support projects that mitigate the impacts of climate change.
