Zeeshan Hashim is a co-founder and senior advisor at PRISA. He currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Political Economy, affiliated with both the European Research College London and the European Research University (ERUNI). His research spans migration, institutional development, political polarization, and South Asia. His academic interests lie at the intersection of political economy and public economics.
He holds a PhD in Economics and Finance from Brunel University London, where he was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Prize for Research Excellence. His doctoral work examined the interplay between political and economic freedoms, the role of political parties, and the fiscal foundations of democratic governance.
