PRISA Think Tank Brief

If you are interested in being published by PRISA, there are two platforms to which you can contribute. The articles should relate to contemporary issues in South Asia, and we are particularly interested in those that address our research themes (regional integration in South Asia, South Asian diasporas and UK-South Asian relations). Our submission guidance is flexible, as the significance and qualities of the ideas you wish to communicate are more important than style.

Blog

Blog pieces should be like an essay in style and evidence-based. They should address contemporary issues in South Asia and consist of around 1,000 words. Use hyperlinks when citing external sources for facts, quotations or statistics.

Please consult the Blog to ensure that your proposed piece is different to those already written for PRISA and to see accepted writing styles.

Policy Reports

Policy reports are more detailed than the blog pieces and should address a contemporary issue, providing context and policy recommendations. Academic material on the issue should also be consulted and cited. We encourage the use of headings, which will be listed at the top to allow readers to navigate the piece. Policy reports should consist of around 2,500 words. Use hyperlinks when citing external sources for facts, quotations or statistics and include a list of academic references cited at the end of the article.

Please consult the Policy Reports already written to ensure that your proposed report is different and to see how the reports should be structured.
