Dr. Raj Kumar

Dr. Raj Kumar is member Advisory Council PRISA. He has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at the University of Jammu, located in the Indian-administered Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, since 2011. Prior to this role, he gained experience at one of India’s leading law firms.He holds a post-graduate MBA-LL.M (Dual Degree Integrated Course) from National Law University, Jodhpur (2007-2010), and a BA-LL.B (Dual Degree Integrated Course) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (2002-2007). A qualified Company Secretary (Professional) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (2010), he earned his Ph.D. in “Competition Law” from the University of Jammu.Dr. Raj Kumar has delivered lectures at various universities in India and abroad, the J&K Judicial Academy, and the Department of Accountant General, Jammu & Kashmir. He is a recognized examiner and paper setter for several universities and serves as a Visiting Professor at Kathmandu School of Law, Nepal. A founding member of the Asian Association of Law Professors (AALP), Kathmandu, he actively contributes to academic discourse. He teaches Public International Law, Law of Contract, and Company Law to LL.B and LL.M students at the University of Jammu, where he also guides LLM scholars and PhD candidates.
